Yoga and Plant-based Lifestyle

Yoga found me in 2013. It was a moment when I thought my inner lotus was growing weak from trying to constantly rise through life’s murky waters.

In 2011, I was trying to regain myself after having thyroid cancer. In 2011, I lost my grandmother breast cancer and there were a number of other WTF situations that kept popping up.

Yoga was the missing piece that I needed to assist me in grounding and developing a new me. It was that strength that brought my inner lotus to rise above the waters and to fully blossom.

See, when it comes to yoga, you have to be open enough to come and be who you are at that moment. To fully let go and to fully be open to receive. Inhale the life force of what sparks your soul and energizes your heart. Exhale all that is no longer nourishing you and let it go.

My yoga practice.
